Newcomer & Registration Information	Wednesdays Reminder EVERY Wednesday dismissal is 1 hour earlier than normal (at 2:45 PM) for Professional Learning Team (PLT) meetings. Click here to view the agendas for these meetings. EARLY RELEASE days for this school year are: 9/23, 10/21, 12/2, 2/3, 3/10, and 4/21. Dismissal on those Wednesdays is at 1:15 PM. This national award, given by Magnet Schools of America, is based on a commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, and the consistent delivery of high quality education to students.

Fidelity FutureStage Program at Underwood

The North Carolina Symphony is one of five symphonies in the U.S. working with Fidelity Investments to bring music education into public schools. Learn more about this unique opportunity at Underwood. Additional information is available on the NC Symphony blog. Just Push Play

Just Push Play is a program brought to Underwood by Be Active North Carolina. It is helping create an environment where physical activity is the norm throughout the day in our classrooms, in our afterschool programs and with our staff. Physical activity is a proven method to maintain a healthy weight and it improve classroom focus and reduce anxiety.
